You know you can press R to autorun and press Ctrl to see the enemy names right? Wasting time? Don't think so. Kali is right, in a group with a thresher and a collector, target the thresher first (shiftclick so you don't start attacking but run straight through), KD, Tab, KD collector. This is because the collector has 2 spells he can use on you, Life Siphon and Shadow Strike, both of which have a 2 second cast time, giving you enough time to recharge from KD'ing the thresher and then KD the collector before he finishes casting. This ensures you never get a hex on you. The threshers, on the other hand, have 3 hexes with a 1 second cast time. Targeting the collector first usually results in at least one hex on you. It's just logical to go for the thresher first.

Sounds complicated. Not my style of playing at all. I never autorun and never click opponents. Pinky on the tab, rest of the fingers on QWE, slipping down to ASD as needed. Activating skills and changing running direction with mouse. Nothing in the pits touches me. I enter and leave without anything happening to my healthbar.

I'm really liking the second quest. Sure, it takes 20-30 minutes to do, but I've done it on 3 chars now without dying, and the first time I had no idea what I was doing.
I'm not a big time UW speed clearer or farmer or anything like that, and having these quests is really helping out a lot in me finding my way around the UW. It's kind of like having a free run of the place so you can map it out and get oriented. Pretty cool, imo.

Well, to be fair, I wasn't advising people who were already doing the bone pits without trouble to hit the threshers first, I was responding to people who complained about getting hexes stacked on them. There's enough space between patrols that it's not really hard to stop for a second and target the thresher first if hexes are the problem.

There should be a good Dhuum fight with all the monster skills added with tonight's build.

So... new skills were uploaded onto wiki - supposedly Dhuum's personal skills and more.
So, if these are real (a bit skeptical since it was an ip), we fight Dhuum, who has a Scythe.
And if we die, our spirits go to the Forgotten Vale (now THAT will be interesting to see...).

Second that. Couldn't find anything looking under monster skills or under any reference to Dhuum...maybe they got pulled already?

I'm wondering how much QQing we'll see here if the final quest reward doesn't live up to expectations...

Good find Konig. It's gonna be interesting to see the new quests. Judging by those skill descriptions, it's not going to be another running mission.

I'm stoked! Some actual fighting.
I don't know how much to trust the IP who put on the skills

Thanks Konig! Weight of Dhuum is just plain nasty though with only a 5 second shutdown it doesn't look particularly lethal. I'm actually more interested in what he looks like at this point...guessing traditional Death but we'll see soon enough.
